Landscape Digital Art
This is a Landscape I digitally painted for a Digital Illustration Class.
As for the creation process, I first had to find a reference, which I decided on a photo from a backpacking trip I took in the Rocky Mountains. I then sketched out the transition points, such as foreground, background, and horizon lines.
After the preparation, I moved to making the overall piece by painting in Adobe Photoshop, using a Wacom Tablet.
I think this piece turned out decently, I could have spent more time on the foreground. But I think the clouds look incredible! I believe that it successfully conveys a landscape and beautiful skyline.
